Cameroon delegation in Yunnan
Feb 3, 2010—A delegation from Société Industrielle de Tabacs du Cameroun (SITABAC) led by executive president, Dr. James Onobiono, visited the HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in China’s Yunnan Province on January 28 to discuss cigarette production co-operation, according to a Tobacco China Online story.
The Cameroon delegation was met by the HongyunHonghe vice president, Bi Fenglin, and officials of the group’s overseas business development department. Onobiono told his hosts that Cameroon and its neighboring countries had relatively strong demand for cigarettes, and that Virginia-style products accounted for more than 60 percent of sales.
He expressed the hope that HongyunHonghe would cooperate with SITABAC in respect of licensed production of cigarettes, raw materials technology, investments and other matters.
