 Sarajevo factory shares to be sold

The government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has said it intends to sell its 39.9 percent stake in the Fabrika Duhana Sarajevo (FDS) tobacco factory through the Sarajevo Stock Exchange, according to a Seenews story.

The government’s 511,478 shares in FDS will be sold by its privatization agency.

No further details were provided.

According to the bourse, FDS has a total of 1,281,712 shares with a nominal price of 100 marka each ($56.1).

The privatization agency failed this month to sell the government’s stake in insurer Sarajevo Osiguranje through two auctions on the bourse.
