Linx expanding in Africa
The coding and marking specialist, Linx Printing Technologies, has expanded its sales territories in north-west Africa with the appointment of distributors to sell its continuous ink jet (CIJ) printers in two additional countries.
Morocco-based Unicode will be representing Linx in Mauritania while Linx’s long-standing Tunisian partner, JETs S.A., has opened a new sales and service centre in Bamako to support Linx customers in Mali.
‘Both companies are existing Linx distributors and will therefore be able to offer customers in these new territories high levels of service and support, combined with in-depth technical expertise and market knowledge,’ Linx said in a press note.
‘The range of Linx coders available, including its top-selling 5900 and CJ400 series, provides a choice of models ideal for a wide variety of requirements.’
“Increasing levels of automation in these countries is fueling the demand for effective and efficient coding systems,” Chris Pick, Linx’s commercial director was quoted as saying.
“With our proven reputation for CIJ printers that offer easy set-up, simple operation and excellent reliability combined with on-the-ground support from our long-term partners, we are ideally placed to serve the needs of these emerging markets.”
