Held Sept. 22-25 in Dortmund, Germany, InterTabac and InterSupply attracted 12,500 trade visitors from 64 countries. More than 40 percent of the visitors came from abroad.
“Dortmund was the venue of the industry’s international flagship trade fair for three days,” said Sabine Loos, CEO of Westfalenhallen Dortmund.
Nearly 80 percent of the exhibitors stated that their expectations were completely or partly fulfilled and 7.9 percent stated that their expectations had been exceeded, according to the organizers. Some 93 percent of visitors said that their visit has been worthwhile.
The largest visitor groups in 2017 again came from the retail sector, followed by the wholesale sector and the industrial sector.
The next InterTabac and InterSupply will take place Sept. 21-23, 2018.
