New vitola from Habanos
Habanos will present its new San Cristobal de la Habana Prado on Oct. 4 at the Boyana Presidence in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The new vitola is named after Havana’s emblematic Paseo del Prado, an avenue that represents Cuba’s rich architectural history.
The San Cristobal de la Habana brand was sold for the first time in 1999 with a range of four vitolas, whose names correspond to the city’s fortresses—El Morro, La Fuerza, La Punta and El Principe. In 2004, the brand incorporated new vitolas such as Mercaderes, Oficios and Murallas, all names of famous streets found in Havana’s old city.
The new product is designed exclusively for Las Casas del Habano and Habanos specialist stores.
