New leadership USTC
The Board of Directors of U.S. Tobacco Cooperative (USTC), has named Oscar J. House, III chief executive officer and president. House joined USTC in January 2018 as the senior vice president of manufacturing at USTC’s manufacturing facility U.S Flue Cured Tobacco Growers in Timberlake, North Carolina. Prior to joining USTC, House was the director of operations for Phillip Morris International with oversight of the company’s Bogota, Colombia, operations. Prior to that, he served as the director of operations of PTHM Sampoerna in Jakarta, Indonesia. House has also held multiple management roles at Liggett Group.

With solid record of leadership, operational experience and passion for tobacco, House will have responsibility for the day-to-day activities of the consolidated organization as well as the development and implementation of annual, long term and strategic plans. He will report directly to the USTC board of directors.
