New president for Sampoerna

The Indonesian cigarette manufacturer HM Sampoerna Tbk has appointed Mindaugas Trumpaitis as its new president director, according to a story in the Jakarta Post relayed by the TMA.

Trumpaitis is replacing Paul Norman Janelle, who is said to be moving to Lausanne, Switzerland, to take up a senior management position at Philip Morris International, which owns Sampoerna.
