 New name in belting

Ammeraal Beltech and Megadyne Group have a new name for their joint operations—Ammega.
The companies merged earlier this year to create a new business spanning industrial power transmission belting and lightweight conveyor belting
The new name will serve principally to unite employees under a common identity, corporate vision and mission. Ammeraal and Megadyne will continue to use their brand names in their respective markets.
“Ensuring continuity, especially in the way we serve our valued customers, is a top priority” says Marc Maisonneuve, Ammega’s corporate marketing director.
Under the Ammega umbrella, the two brands will benefit from synergies, and will combine their knowledge, research and development activities and business systems to enhance their level of customer service and technology.
“With over 5,000 employees, more than 25 manufacturing facilities, and over 100 commercial and sales centers around the world Ammega demonstrably represents a new global leader in belting, dedicated to serving its ever-broadening customer base at a time when there is dramatically increasing demand for automation in many major industrial sectors in every geographical region,” says CEO Stijn Vriends.
