    FEELM Max Disposable Launched at UK Expo

    The innovative new disposable vaping system FEELM Max was launched during the UK Vaper Expo in Birmingham on May 13.

    The FEELM Max is now available in the UK and EU markets. The event was attended by many top-level e-cigarette industry representatives and FEELM clients, including BAT, RELX International, Totally Wicked and KIWI.

    A subsidiary of Smoore Technology, the world’s largest vaping company, SMOORE, FEELM unveiled the advanced FEELM Max solution that the company says brings three major breakthroughs to vaping, including the advanced heating technology of the Ceramic Coil S1, a constant power control system and “mindful design,” according to a press release.

    The FEELM Max uses the new Ceramic Coil S1, which is designed to deliver “a superior vaping experience” and offers an increased puff count that sets a new benchmark in the market.

    “Benefitting from its cotton-free design and the resulting improvement of e-liquid utilization, the FEELM Max is able to boost puff count by more than 30 percent compared to cotton coil disposable solutions, providing 800 more puffs and setting a new benchmark for 2ml (e-liquid volumes),” said Johnny Zhang, assistant president at FEELM. “This innovation allows products using the FEELM Ceramic Coil S1 to offer increased puff counts while remaining totally compliant with all local regulations.”

    Additionally, the new S1 coil decreases the number of impurities created in the heating process by 78 percent, resulting “in fresher breath and no unpleasant aftertaste.”

    The new system also has several technological innovations. The FEELM Max solution uses a constant power energy management system for stable vaping. This technology improves taste consistency by 35 percent, which further enhances the user experience, according to the release.

    FEELM Max products have a transparent e-liquid tank for both aesthetics and user convenience that allows consumers to easily see how much e-liquid is left in the device.

    The first industrial whole-chain recycling program was also introduced by FEELM during the UK event. Collaborating with RELX International in the UK, FEELM has “taken the responsibility for implementing a scheme that will facilitate vape recycling to a fuller extent, thereby minimizing the environmental impact.”

    BecoVape has launched two new products in Germany: Beco Beak600 and Beco Mate, according to BusinessWire.

    Beco Beak600 has an ergonomic mouthpiece design that follows the curve of the mouth and is specifically designed to provide a stable one-hand grip. Beco Mate is said to offer a new alternative for cigarette users.

    “We are very excited to introduce these two new products in Germany,” said Beco’s CEO. “We have worked hard to develop products that are not only innovative but also practical and useful for our customers. The specialized heating system and airflow design direct the airflow to deliver smooth inhales. Beco made 10,000 designs to find the perfect fit of the mouthpiece and combine it with a compact design.”

    The brand plans to expand its product line. However, the issue of how to become more environmentally friendly is top of mind for the brand. To address this issue, Beco has developed a recycling program.

    Sangbo Corp., an optical film manufacturer, has developed a film that selectively prevents convenience store cigarette ads from being seen from the outside, according to Korea Bizwire.

    The film allows people to view the inside of convenience stores from outside while selectively hiding cigarette ads. Stores in Korea have been required to use opaque sheets on their windows since July 2021 to prevent cigarette ads from being seen from the outside. Opaque sheets have been criticized, however, because crimes committed inside stores cannot be seen from the outside, leaving workers at risk.

    Voopoo has released its fourth-generation DRAG mod, the company announced in a press release.

    First created in 2017, the Drag series has distinguished itself with its rapid ignition. In 2019, Voopoo introduced DRAG 2, which featured improved output power and a better vaping experience. Voopoo DRAG 3 was released in 2021, and gave users a unique vaping experience with its Super Burst mode and fast ignition at 0.001 seconds, according to the manufacturer.

    Building on the classic DRAG mod look, the Drag 4 is designed with zinc alloy, leather, solid wood elements and natural resins.

    The device’s Uforce-L Tank adopts the industry’s original 360 degrees stepless air adjustment ring. With free adjustment and easy control of airflow, it effortlessly generates the sought-after cloudy vapor. The Dual In One Coil accelerates atomization heating and increases atomization efficiency, thus enhancing vapor explosion and delivering rich and delicate flavors.

    With the newly added multifunction switch, the QS lock can be set to lock the wattage, the device or the power. An improved user interface with clearly separated function keys reduce the chance of unintended ignition. The chip automatically identifies the most commonly used heating material and adjusts its temperature to a recommended range.

    Yocan Tech has launched Yocan Pillar, a vaporizer featuring TGT heating technology, according to a company press release.

    The product’s TGT coil comprises ceramic donut and quartz XTAL rod. Instead of leading the liquid straight to a coil, the device directs it to the ceramic donut and melts it onto the XTAL rod.

    In combination with its use of water-filtered concentrate, the coil allows for strong yet smooth hits, according to the manufacturer.

    Yocan Pillar’s main body is made of zinc alloy with a glass mouthpiece and magnetic connection.

    The device allows users to choose between three voltage levels, specified by an indicator light. Higher voltage levels offer more efficient extraction, while lower voltage levels will provide intense flavor. A 30-second heat-up time allows users to extract all active ingredients in one hit.

    Yocan Pillar are available with in Pearl Black, Pearl White, Pearl Orange, Pearl Teal and Pearl Green.

    Vaporesso, one of the largest open-system vaping hardware manufacturers in the world, launched its new 80W Pod Mod, the Luxe XR Max during this year’s Total Product Expo (TPE) 2023 in Las Vegas, held from February 22 to 24 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

    The China-based subsidiary of Smoore International, the largest vaping company in the world, said that the XR Max is the latest member of Luxe X family and is fully compatible with other Luxe X products.

    E-Alternative Solutions (EAS) has introduced Mojo Balanced Energy Pouches in the United States.

    Each pouch contains 50 mg of caffeine derived from coffee beans, as well as a proprietary blend of ingredients such as ginseng root, yerba mate, B-vitamins and amino acids.

    Wild Brands has launched STEP cigarettes, a novel nontobacco cigarette incorporating a layered tobacco-style flavor system, according to a company press release.

    STEP products will be available in full flavor and green (menthol) variants with the goal to replace unaffordable traditional cigarettes in the U.S. market.

    STEP stands for Satisfaction Taste Experience and Price.

    “Based on a proprietary formulation of active herbals and botanicals, STEP cigarettes [are] the first perfectly blended cigarette substitute to come to market that truly feels and tastes like a traditional full flavor or menthol product,” said Zain Meghani, president of Wild Brands. “We believe STEP will have enormous appeal with wholesalers, retailers and, more importantly, with adult price-conscious consumers.”

    BAT Rothmans has released the glo Hyper X2 heat-not-burn device to the South Korean market, reports The Korea Times.

    “Glo Hyper X2 is a next-generation e-cigarette device that will lead the BAT Group’s smoke-free product business,” said Kim Eun-ji, BAT Rothmans’ country manager for South Korea. “We have not only increased the users’ convenience of the platform but also improved its design and portability.”

    Philip Morris International has introduced its IQOS Iluma One in South Korea, reports The Korea Times. The launch comes three months after the debut of IQOS Iluma and IQOS Iluma Prime models in the country.

    According to Philip Morris Korea Managing Director Paik Young-jae, the launch of Iluma One completes the Iluma platform family.

    “The first two Iluma models have received a good response from the market, and if this continues, I am hoping that we will reclaim the leading position in the e-cigarette market here,” Paik said.

    Since the launch of the IQOS device in 2017, Philip Morris Korea had maintained the No. 1 spot in the domestic heat-not-burn for five years. However, in the first quarter of 2022, KT&G took over market leadership in the first quarter of last year.

    IQOS Iluma One retails in South Korea for KRW69,000 ($54.74), which is about 30 percent cheaper than the IQOS Iluma.

     The new device is made with an all-in-one lightweight design that can be held in one hand. A single charge can be used to smoke 20 tobacco sticks.

    Like other IQOS Iluma models, the IQOS Iluma One uses “Terea Smartcore” sticks, which heat tobacco with an induction system adopted inside its body so that users don’t have to clean any residue afterward.
