For several years, Nicaragua has been a top exporter of premium cigars into the U.S. With some of the premium cigar industry’s top brands based in Nicaragua, visiting the country is a must for any retailer and cigar enthusiast. The Puro Sabor Festival, Nicaragua’s premier annual cigar celebration, is your chance to experience everything Nicaragua has to offer.
From January 20-24, 2025, immerse yourself in the heart of the Nicaraguan cigar industry at the Puro Sabor festival. During this week, you will have the chance to explore renowned factories, savor exclusive blends, and mingle with fellow cigar enthusiasts from around the world.
The week begins with your arrival in Managua, where Puro Sabor’s staff will meet you at the airport. After being transported to Granada, you will receive your badges and welcome packages. After a day of exploring the historic city, the evening is topped off with an informal welcome dinner. On Tuesday, January 21, participants will cruise Lake Nicaragua, El Cocibolca, and its islets. On Wednesday, January 22, participants will leave Granada and be transported to Estelí. After lunch at the Víctor Calvo farm in San Isidro, you will arrive in Estelí for your first factory tour. The official welcome dinner ends the night. Thursday will include factory and tobacco farm tours, followed by the traditional White Party. On Friday, January 24, a panel discussion will feature different personalities from the Nicaraguan cigar industry. In the afternoon, participants will visit a local artisan fair. The night ends with the festival’s closing ceremony and gala dinner. Participants will travel back home on Saturday, January 25.
